Emma Davey ’18

Why hello there! I’m Emma, and I’m a fourth-year politics major from Houston (H-Town vicious). While I don’t always agree with the political climate of the South, I do appreciate a good pecan pie with a nice scoop of Bluebell Homemade Vanilla ice cream on top.

Through my years at Oberlin, I’ve been involved with Students United for Reproductive Freedom, WOBC, and The Grape. I love music of the indie rock persuasion and Italian food. My favorite movie is Heathers. I love musicals. When I was in second grade, I told the school yearbook that my hero was Beyonce, and it’s still true. I have an unusual fondness for rainy days. I’m an Aquarius and an INTJ if that means anything to anyone. If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be all four of the Golden Girls.

Things you can find me doing: attempting to read for pleasure, drinking vanilla lattes from The Local, and doing the dance to the red dress version of Kate Bush’s “Wuthering Heights.”
